The Challenge: Budget-Conscious, Customised Automation

The primary challenge was to provide complete, intelligent lighting coverage for a large, sectioned room without exceeding the project’s budget. The solution needed to be more than just automated; it had to be programmed to match the specific workflow of the operators, providing light where and when it was needed, and for appropriate durations in different zones.

The Solution: Multi-Tiered Control and Flawless Coverage

We deployed our TritonMAX product line to deliver a solution that was both cost-effective and exceptionally intelligent. The system’s success was built on several key innovations:

Optimised Sensor Placement: To meet the budget, we installed a minimal, optimal number of TritonMAX Sensor fixtures. By integrating ME (Mesh Extender) functionality into our luminaires, we ensured a perfect and robust B2L mesh network across the entire area, eliminating any coverage gaps.

Fortiva: Tailored Illumination with Enhanced Durability

: We created a sophisticated, multi-tiered timing system based on worker movement. Sensors in high-traffic areas were set to shorter intervals, while also triggering „helper“ fixtures to illuminate corridor entrances. For operators working inside the corridors, the fixtures were programmed with a longer time interval to prevent unwanted interruptions.

Manual System Override: We installed a B2L Switch, giving workers the ability to manually turn off the entire system when leaving the facility. Crucially, the system was programmed to automatically revert to its fully automatic mode after a set period, ensuring it was always ready and energy-efficient.

Rapid Installation Savings: Utilising WAGO quick connectors integrated into our TritonMAX fixtures, we achieved significant savings on installation time and costs.
